Make the heart like an ocean, go beyond all the trifles of the world, be mad with joy even at evil; see the world as a picture and then enjoy its beauty, knowing that nothing affects you. Children finding glass beads in a mud puddle, that is the good of the world. Look at it with calm complacency; see good and evil as the same—both are merely “Gods play”; enjoy all. હૃદયને સાગર જેવું બનાવો, દુનિયાની નજીવી ચિંતાઓથી મુક્ત થાઓ; અનિષ્ટ દેખીને પણ આનંદથી ઘેલા બનો. જગતને એક ચિત્ર તરીકે જુઓ અને પછી તમે જગતની કોઈ વસ્તુથી લિપ્ત થતા નથી એમ જાણી તેનું સૌંદર્ય ભોગવો. આ દુનિયાની કીમત છે બાળકોએ કીચડના ખાબોચિયામાંથી શોધેલ કાચના મણકા જેટલી. તેની પ્રત્યે શાંત ઉપેક્ષાથી જુઓ. ઇષ્ટ અને અનિષ્ટ બંનેને સમાન ભાવે જુઓ  બંને કેવળ ‘ઈશ્વરની લીલા’ છે, તેનો આનંદ લૂંટો. हृदय को समुद्र के समान महान् बना लो, संसार के क्षुद्र भावों के परे चले जाओ, इतना ही नहीं, अशुभ आने पर भी आनंद से उन्मत्त हो जाओ; जगत् को एक तस्वीर के समान देखो; और यह जान कर के जगत् में तुम्हें कोई भी वस्तु विचलित नहीं कर सकती, जगत् के सौन्दर्य का उपभोग करो । जगत् के सुख इस प्रकार हैं, जैसे छोटे छोटे लड़के खेल करते करते कीचड़ में काँच की गुरिया पा जाते हैं जगत् के सुख-दुःख के के ऊपर शान्त भाव से दृष्टिपात करो; शुभ और अशुभ दोनों को एक दृष्टि से देखो  दोनों ही भगवान् के खेल हैं, इसलिए सभी में आनन्द का अनुभव करो ।
